Thought that would get your interest :D

Rathdrum Rifle and Pistol Club has added a chat forum to the website. You can get to it from the menu on the website at www.rathdrumrpc.org or directly at www.rathdrumrpc.org/forum.

The forum is mostly for Rathdrum related stuff, but everyone's welcome to join in and ask questions or make suggestions.

We're hoping that the input from other shooters will help us develop the club in the right direction and continue to add facilities that everyone would like to see.

It is also intended to bridge the gap between website announcements and face to face communication to help us provide a better service - especially when things go wrong as they usually do. ;)

Members have a separate section where they can interact and agree new developments without the need for formal meetings which in these high pressure times are getting harder and harder to organise.

Thanks folks, its mostly down to our hardworking PRO who has developed the site and all the ancillary stuff that goes with it.

I just get to play with the toys :D

Anyway, we're not trying to take anything from boards, there's no way we could even attempt (or want) to do what's done here. As Sparks has often said, you don't get to develop the sport unless you are prepared to do some work and make it easier for people to find out more.

That's what the forum is about, so as I said earlier, feel free to drop in any time.

The Rathdrum website and forum have been moved to a new and much faster server. This move was carried out overnight and this morning, so there have been some outages.

The IP address has also changed, so if you are not able to get to it, it's probably because the updated address hasn't reached your ISP yet.

If you know how to do it, you can add the new IP (174.133.237.188) to your hosts file or just wait for the DNS to propagate.

Apologies, but its worth it, the new server is very zippy indeed :D
