Setanta Free to Air Channel on SKY BOX

Guys,

Setanta Ireland is the only channel that is Free to Air. Does anyone know the code in order to do this on the Sky Box. I have tried rentlessly and nothing. I got the other free to air channels codes and working fine. Any Ideas a desperate MUNSTER FAN looking for this for the Magners League Matches:D

That mußt be UPC you are thinking of. They have Setanta Ireland FTA AFAIK.

Might I suggest S4C and BBC2 W

Setanta Ireland is not FTA on satellite.

You're obviously not a sufficiently devoted Munster Fan, or else you would have sold your First-Born off to pay for Setanta coverage

Open to correction on this but I think Setanta Sports News is available with a cancelled Irish card too.

Hi, there is a channel which shows a few Setanta channels FTA on 11584 H 27.5 tagged as Racing world. It has the encryption flag set so its not viewable via skybox but if you have a FTA receiver it should come in no bother. While there is nothing on it will show test bars with Setanta ppv 2 on it dont panic you have the channel and its just a matter of time before something comes up.

Yes indeed, however, not all STBs will be able to scan it in for some reason, though if one can manually create a channel, and manually enter the PIDs (with the freq., polarity and symbol rate above), then it should be able to *see* it.

PIDs are: Video, 2327; Audio, 2328; PCR, 2328

Partick Thistle v Rangers is on right now, though you can also get this on BBC 1 Scotland.

Thanks Guys its onyl Setanta Ireland as far as I know is free tried those codes looks like you have to subscribe to the packages:mad:.

Basically states four soundtracks for S4C (on FTA boxes), of which German channel contains the English commentary. On skyboxes says to set global preference to German in 'Languages and Subtitles' and that this will not affect language on other channels.

Doing this bypasses "revert to normal audio" onscreen message.
No matches on at the moment, so can't see if it works.
