It's an admissions test for certain colleges in the UK for medicine (and vet med I believe) - they take the result of it along with your application when considering you.

I did the BMAT a couple years ago, if you can get some sample papers and do them to the time allowed that'd be great - the only problem I had with the paper was my timing but I did manage it! Any questions about the actual paper and I'll try to remember!
