I'll be running a Hordes/WarMachine tournament in Models INC, Dorset Street, on Saturday, October the 11th.

500 point lists, and the tournament will be using Privateer Press' Steam-Roller 4 rules.

    These are available at http://www.privateerpressforums.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=8144

Entry cost is 15 euro, and all entry fees will go towards the prize pool.
Entry for under 18s is ten euro.

There'll be prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, best painted single model, and sportsmanship. If we have enough
entrants, we may do some other small prizes. If anyone wins more than 1 prize, they'll get the glory, but the additional rewards will go to a spot prize for someone else.

Registration opens at 10am and CLOSES at 10:45
The first round will begin at 11am.

No proxying, and don't forget, under steam-roller rules, you're allowed to bring two army lists (from the same faction of course), and choose which to play before each match.

Tickets are already available in Models INC.

Beginners are very welcome, that's one of the reasons we chose 500 points over 750, and the steam-roller time limits are very generous, and include an extra 5 minutes for the 1 turn of your choice.

Hopefully see you in two and a half weeks!

Does the army need to be painted?

    Nope. No proxies allowed though.

    Proxies?

Proxies = using something else to represent a model in game.

IE showing up with bane thralls and using them as knights exemplar. It's confusing for your opponent, and not something to do in a tourney.

Sorry, I always used the expression WYSIWYG!
    :)

WYSIWYG tends to be a bit more tightly focused than proxies. WYSIWYG! will (generally speaking) have the right models, but maybe not the right gear.

If there are no proxies I assume then that you can't use any of the new Legends stuff that hasn't been released? Or is it ok to proxy those?

If it's not out yet, then you can't proxy it. Normal PP tournament rules basically.

Ah, I wasn't aware of that particular tournament rule.

Just a quick reminder, 2 days until this tourney is on in Models Inc.
