Which Train Station??

Hi, I currently work in the Damastown Industrial Estate in the Blanch area and live in a Littlepace, however my girlfriend is going to be moving up very soon, she will be working in Dun Laoghaire! So here's my dilemma i need my car for work and my girlfriend is not confident driving in dublin, so she will have to get the train to work making one change in the city

We will need to move beside a train station, so its either going to be Clonsilla, Coolmine, Castleknock, Ashtown or Broombridge.
I think if she gets the train from Clonsilla the train won't be as jam packed as if she got it from somewhere like Ashtown or Broombridge!! Although the journey time would be shorter for her if she got it from Ashtown/Broombridge!

Also would anyone know what the drive would be like from places like Clonsilla and Ashtown in the mornings to the blanch area.
I would greatly appreciate your help or any alternative suggestions!!

    Thank You

The train will be quite jammed when it gets to Ashtown but it's not too far int othe city centre from there and it starts to empty at Drumcondra anyway. I get it occasionally from Leixlip to Ashtown or sometimes leave the car in Ashtown and get the train from there to the city centre and it's never too packed.
If driving from Clonsilla to Blanch in the morning, it ain't going to be pretty because of the heavy traffic heaidng that way. It won't be too bad though driving from the likes of Ashtown to Blanch because you're going against the traffic.
Also, if you're in Ashtown, you could very well be right beside the train station. It's nice and handy. It would probably be handiest IMO

Please bear in mind that not everywhere in Ashtown may have car parking spaces and/or you end up paying a premium on any rent for a space. Apart from that, Ashtown isn't the worst by the looks of it. Plenty of trains into town and depending on where you live - there will be buses as well if you want to go out on a night into town. Also, plenty of shopping facilities nearby, e.g. Blanch shopping centre.
