I know there's some good value in lens at the moment but wondering if any such thing as a cheap/decent fisheye. thinking it'd make a nice gift but only if price is right.. (for a canon 400d user who is new photography)

a wider angle is better. but no other requirements really.

Get one of the Peleng or Zenith fisheye's. About 100 - 150 quid.

I've seen some nice results from the peleng but heard build quality can be a bit hit and miss.
