Just wondering something guys. Been looking through a few websites of UK based militaria sellers, surprised the varience in price between some of them, anyway, what I was thinking was, these guys more than likely sell items from stalls at shows, fairs, etc and in those cases you can 'negotiate' a price. Online though it seems all too simple to just click that 'add to cart' button as you dont have direct interaction with a seller.

So, have you ever, or do you as a rule contact the seller and try and get yourself a better deal on an item when buying online, or just accept the price thats shown?

It depends on the item and the price. Sometimes I watch an item over a couple of months and if it hasn't sold within a reasonable time I may ask the seller for a price reduction.

In other cases there are items I am happy to pay the full asking price without haggling.

It's always worth a try though but I mostly do it with sellers who I know or from whom I have bought in the past.
