Welcome to the forum dedicated to discussion of all matters concerning Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design & Technology. Please browse over the following posting guidelines to ensure a comfortable discussion environment for all.

    Stay on Topic
    - Posts and threads should fit with the topic of the forum.

    Spamming
    - Posts and threads not making any sense will be deleted.

    Porn and warez
    - We know they exist, they don't have any place on this forum, don't post them.

    Silly arguments
    - Everyone has an opinion, be mindful of that. Keep things civil.

    Personal attacks
    - Posts containing personal attacks or posts of a defamatory nature aimed at Boards.ie users or IADT staff members will be edited or deleted

    Assistance
    - These forums are not here to facilitate help with your projects or assignments. There are various resources available on campus to be availed of. Having a chat with your class tutor or lecturer will often help a great deal more than asking for help here and then having your thread locked.

    - If you have a question about a particular course, whether it be about transfers, personal experience, timetables, deadlines, open days, events etc, do a search before starting a new thread. It can save a great deal of time.

    Personal Information
    - If any personal information is to be shared for whatever reason, keep it to PM.

The same rules that govern the rest of Boards.ie exist here and are to be followed. Keep these guidelines in mind while posting here, don't be afraid to ask questions, play nice and we'll see you around campus :)
