    Hey,

I'm going into third year. I am in the middle of completing my CV online for INTRA (work experience) - it requires exam results. However, I cannot locate some of the results for last year. I tried calling the registry but it's uber busy, was on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up.

So who do I need to contact about this? Is it definitely the reg. who help me here?

    Thanks,

    Ste

Did you try your Course Co-Ordinator? They have all that kind of information, it's just an issue of whether or not they are willing to give it to you quickly over the email.

Btw you're entitled to all information DCU holds about you.

Thanks for the reply, I'll give the course co-ord. a shout.

It is fairly annoying alright but they would have sent you a statement of your results back in November. Its not their fault if you can't keep track of important documents and have lost it.

Yeah I know it's not their fault, but I'm a repeat student and was sent a few transcripts and lost track of them....my fault, i know! :)

But seriously, I don't know how they get away with charging that amount to access the personal information that they hold on us. What I am looking for is basically a request under the Data Protection Act for my results (i.e. info they hold about me) - and according to law this access amount cannot exceed €6.35 - so how are they getting away with charging €7.00 and €14.00 (for a double copy) - yeah, i know it's only a difference of 0.65cent, but it pishes me off.

Nobody cares what you got in first year, its your second year results that will get you the interview and then just talk your way in the job,
