    The Brownlow Awards takes place tonight with Jimmy Bartel being tipped to win for the second year running.

    Midfielders are usually the top preferences for the judges so I can see it being a straight shootout between him and Gary Ablett.

    Lookin forward to seeing some hot WAGS!

    Judds woman is a fair bit of stuff. Whats her name? Twiggley or something like that no?

    Ablett missed a couple of games that Bartel starred in, and its hard for the Geelong players to get points as they basically compete against each other, whereas crap teams with only a couple of decent players hoover up the votes in their games.

    edit: just looked up google for Judds bird, Rebecca Twigley. Hmm, wouldnt have to think too long if given an oppertunity!

    Yeah she's a stunner alright. Ablett's missus is quality, as is Scott Pendlebury's.

    and in other related Brownlow medal news, bit trivial compared to the above, Simon Black is ahead of Ablett by one vote after 20 rounds, and Richo level on 22 with Ablett. Bartel is way way off, Selwood and Corey ahead proving how hard it is to gain individual recognition at Geelong.

    Anyway, back to the wags...

    and its all over and Adam Cooney came from no where to snatch it. Black, Richo and Ablett didnt get a single point in the last 2 rounds and Cooney got 3 in round 21 to nip in front.

    Yeah some finish to it. Very exciting in the last few rounds.

    I, like most people, was rooting for Richo but it wasn't to be. Ablett was visibly sick when he didn't get any votes in the last round.

    Well done Adam Cooney.
