LCD Screen + DVI

    Hello,

I recently bought this screen. Currently I have it plugged in via the vga cable from the screen into a DVI adapter and into the graphics card.

Should I buy a separate DVI cable to plug from the screen to the GFX card and then plug the VGA cable from the screen to the Mobo? Or is it all the same.

    Thanks

DVI is only really necessary for watching HDCP content but it does give better picture quality especially with resolutions above 1280*1024. If you want slightly better quality and have the cash to spare go for it.

Why would you want to plug the VGA cable into the motherboard video adaptor?
