    Hey guys,

Just went sale agreed on a house late last week and putting down a booking deposit today. I'm looking for advice on a few topics.
    • Should I hold of signing until the budget or could that back fire
    • Solicitor recommendations (knocklyon area)
    • Surveyor recommendations
    • Life insurance/ mortgage protection/ home insurance
    • Agent looking for 12k for booking depo, was going to say I'll only give 5, am I right or wrong
    • Bought for 40k less than asking, am I still mad buying now
    • Any thing else I need to think about?? (mortgage is approved)

Thanks for any help guys, it's my first house and i need all the advice I can get

If you tell us the house and how much you paid, we'll be able to advise. The asking price could have been outrageous.

Personally I think it is a terrible time to buy.
