I was just wondering where people have bought their unlocked iphones or do you just buy it from 02 and unlock yourself?

Your only chance of an unlocked iPhone is to buy an older first gen phone,
as the 3G can't be unlocked yet.

The 3G can be bought from Italy, Hong Kong or Australia (There may be more) but that will run u 800 - 1000 euro.

I don't know of anywhere in Ireland selling them. You will pick a first gen up on ebay at a good price.

Yes it can via the use of SIM adaptors. I run a 3G on Meteor this way.

    Meh,
I'm not a big fan of the sim adapters, they can be kinda sketchy,
But I suppose if it works for u fair enough.
I wouldn't recommend it myself tho!
