    nicely done - i like the starkness and contrast that is portrayed. did you post process in the darkness or capture it as part of the natural composition?

    Just an idea rather than being critical but I wonder is there possibly a more interesting angle that you could have been taken - it appears (as would be expected) to be quite 'flat on'.

    No the background was very dark of the statue so while doing the BW conversion I tweaked it a little so that the background showed up fully dark.The starkness and contrast would be mostly down to the post processing. Ive got lots of other angles on the statue but felt this worked best for the bw conversion.
