Ever buy from GAK?

With the relative weakness of Sterling buying in the UK looks a valid option. Has anyone ever dealt with www.gak.co.uk? Their prices seem to be very good relative to German sites, for example.

I'm still looking for my Tele :o

Search the forum and check the Similar Threads at the bottom of the page. Loads of threads about GAK, all good IIRC

Postage is standard £26.....no matter how big the order.

Fast delivery too by courier....DHL and they even call your phone to check if you are at home etc.

    100% from me....

theres a few dealers in the uk that are a great to deal with&you can negotiate on prices with them.they all use this price match policy so if you see an amp in one store for £500 then the other stores would most likely match the price or even better it.

http://www.machinehead.co.uk/ is where i bought my musicman and i know the owner personally too as i met him at the london guitar show recently, they would give ya good price.

http://www.stringsdirect.co.uk/ is another good one ive bought from before and you can really bargin here especially if your buy a few items.

Yup bought a Gibson les Paul off them about 4 years ago. One of the smoothest guitar purchases I've made tbh

Be careful if you want your goods before xmas. I ordered an amp last week from these guys. yesterday the site said my order was pending dispatch, then all of a sudden the delivery date changed to 30th of december!

It took them over 5 days to realise they couldnt fill my order! Their prices are cheaper than most, but if you need presents before xmas, or within a month, i would be very wary.

Bought my amp off them, took around a month to come. Courier. Came with an extra channel/fx switch pedal which I took to be a mistake, cuz ya can only plug one in.

No problems, would use again. But dv247 are beating them on price for most of the things I want / have bought.

(It's a Marshall 250DFX if anyone reading this cares)
