I am thinking of going shopping to alleviate the guilt but will only spend loads of money and feel worse!

Do you feel bad for staying in and doing nothing on a lovely sunny Saturday? 21 votes

Yes, get out and do something on your day off!

Went for a walk to and from the gym. It really is a gorgeous day though, wonder if I should get a few beers and go down to the docks or something?

Yes, been feeling guilty for still being inside today - especially as it's no doubt going to be getting colder and darker from here on in :(:(:(

But all is not lost as my friend is picking me up in 20 minutes to go walking over in Howth :)

I'm still in the horrors from last night but I'll go for a cycle soon to clear my head. Better make the most of today because we probably won't get a day this warm for another 9 months or so.

I'm stuck in work, and what's worse is there is nothing for us to do... we're just sitting here missing a lovely day, uncomfortably warm in the office too :(

Working so "am i bovvered if it's sunny?" :p

Got 2 loads of washing dry before i got here so all's not lost.

I prefer dark and dreary... sure what would us country folk talk about if the weather was good? Roll on the clock going back!

At work now, and all my friends are doing laps of the town walking past the window, but besides that - all's good in the 'hood.

Its still afternoon, its still sunny, whats the problem?

Nah I went outside earlier and Ruth Scott was sitting there in the roadcaster (sp?) so I decided that being inside was the safest option.

Also, since my dad has decided that summer has come, I am boycotting outside because summer should have come ages ago....you know....during the actual summer.

No because it's bloody dull in Edinburgh. I was in London yesterday and the sun was splitting the stones, but I spent 8 hours inside doing an exam. Lovely. I'm doomed to never feeling the suns warmth again.

I'm going to ask the obvious question here - does it take all afternoon to shop for a pair of tights?:confused: Especially considering that if you get lucky, they'll be ripped off your bones anyway?

This thread made me feel better.
I just spent the day visiting a sick relative in hospital. While she lay there making those "maybe I'll vomit, maybe I wont" belch noises, I was looking longingly out the window.
So I rushed home with a newspaper and some cold cans to catch the last glimmers of sunlight in the back garden. Unfortunately, the wooden furniture was completely saturated with water despite the wee bit of sun and so completely soaked my arse. Then a really big spider ran up my arm and nearly gave me heart failure, so I called it quits and went inside.

I hate the sun. I prefer to go on walks in the rain. Less scumbags mulling about on street corners.

    It's dark now
