Whats the story with the greyhound track in Mullingar these days?

Haven't been in yonks. Used to love it as a kid, trying scrounge 50p for trap number 4 to win, innocent times.

Is the set meal worth a punt? Would you recommend booking in advance? I'm really up for some canine and boozed fuelled degeneracy when my stomach repairs itself.

Food isn't great! I wouldn't bother booking for the set meal. Love the chips downstairs!

Love the dogs but no one ever wants to go!

There must be sort of leper-esque stigma attached to it it myxi , mentioned the idea to a few mates and the idea bombed a a while back.

Ah well I'll manage to rally a posse of sorts in the next week or two when a few mates get back from exams/J1's etc.

I went for about 3 weeks in a row at the start of the summer, but never won ANYTHING, whilest all the lads were cleaning up around me! Haven't been back since, can be good enough fun though.
