    Im buying a t-mobile sidekick and want to unlock it, can the places in town that unlock phones also do american ones does anyone know?Thanks

    No they can't. You (well I) can get codes for them, but they cost over €45 and take 2/3 weeks to get the code.

    and a lot of the sidekick functions wont work in ireland anyway so you'd be wasting your time and money getting one.
