Hello, well I have this oversized tv which I took to Dublin with me and it caused a great deal of hassle...I was thinking...are you even able to connect a tv in your room?? (I know I should have thought about this earlier) Please say yes...lol  x

There is one NTL point in each apartment and this is located in the living room/ kitchen communal area. If you're bringing a tv to halls, put it out there so the rest of your housemates casn see it. BTW there are no tvs supplied by trinity in the apartments, you must have your own. You could have a TV (with only the 4 irish channels) in your room but tbh there isn't a whole lot of room, considering you'll need your desk for study and or computer.

Nope, you can't. UK uses a older digital TV standard than that that is going to be used in Ireland so the boxes don't work, well you will have audio but no picture if you are lucky

Basic NTL cable package is what you get in the kitchen, so thats RTE1, RTE2, TV3, TG4, Channel 6, BBC1, BBC2, UTV, Channel 4, Sky News, Sky One, MTV 1, Discovery, Setanta Sports, Nickelodeon/Paramount, Living, E4

If you face the Dublin mountains a rabbit ear aerial might get the 4 stations RTE1, RTE2, TV3, TG4, but the picture won't be great. And no you can't stick an aerial out the window.
