    Can anyone recommend wheres nice to go walking on a fine weekend. I was thinking dublin mountains, where about is good to go though. Not really familiar with that area or where else is good?

    eh powerscourt is class I think. me and my mate went here around July and cut off up into the 'mountains'...well off the beaten track anyway.

    had some good crack that day, and the adventure wasn't bad either.;)

    In the mountains Glendalough is good but busy, Glenmalure or Devil's Glen are better, glenmalure being my personal favourite.

    Two convenient options and on the DART line are:
    - Howth, walk from the pier across the headland down to the lighthouse.
    - Bray, walk along the cliff side to Greystones.
