if you're a single traveller but want to join a group, what options are there?

I was looking for a european activity holiday, walking, culture or whatever .. had checked out traveldepartment.ie and onefootabroad.ie .... but was looking for others ... anybody any other links (or advice)?

CIE Tours do some excellent organised tours around europe. I've been on some of them as a single traveller, and they are great fun. You meet the rest of the group at the welcome meeting, and I've made some great new friends from all over the world on these tours. The tours are run by Insight tours and you will find there is a very good mix of ages and nationalities on them. Most of the meals are included too and the standard of the hotels is very high. Defo reccommend them.
