    I can maybe suggest three products that might do the job for you.

    Acronis True Image Echo Workstation

    A professional system backup and disaster recovery application for office desktops and laptops.
    An ideal solution for backup and disaster recovery of the entire office network or a local computer, Acronis® True Image Echo™ Workstation gives you many options, including the ability to backup an entire system or individual files or folders; perform a disaster recovery backup or restore files, folders, or an entire disk from an image; manage backup/restore tasks remotely; restore the system to dissimilar hardware; and much more.

    Acronis Disk Director Suite
    Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 is the easiest and most convenient partition manager and hard disk toolkit. It brings together the most popular disk management functions, partition recovery tools, and boot disk manager for Windows XP and Vista desktop systems.

    Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 combines a number of previous Acronis disk management tools into one solution:
    Partition Manager allows you to resize, move, copy, split, and merge partitions without losing your data;
    Boot Manager is a multi-boot software utility that allows you to install multiple operating systems on your PC;
    Partition Recovery allows you to recover accidentally lost or deleted partitions;
    Disk Editor is a disk drive repair tool that allows you to perform advanced operations on your hard disk drive, such as restoration of boot records and hexadecimal editing.

    New key features make it easier than ever before to modify your partition structure and boot new operating systems:
    Split partitions;
    Merge partitions;
    Explore partitions;
    Boot from an additional hard disk drive;
    Boot from CD/DVD;
    Automatic operating system detection.
    More Features
    Save Time and Reduce Storage Requirements
    Acronis Disk Director is the ideal tool when used in combination with Acronis True Image backup. Here's how you can take advantage of the hard drive manager and disaster recovery software together:
    Create individual partitions for your system and your data using the comprehensive disk management utility Acronis Disk Director Suite.
    Make scheduled data backups from your data partition by selecting specific files you need to backup.
    Image your system partition using Acronis True Image backup and restore software only before applying system changes, such as installing new software and the like.
    Thus, using the combination of two great Acronis' products you will always have an image of your system and backup of your data. This will greatly save your time and reduce your storage requirements.

    Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server Edition
    - allows to create the exact server disk image for complete server backup providing organizations with the most comprehensive, reliable, and cost effective server protection. After a system crash, Acronis True Image ES allows administrators to perform a full system restore, a bare metal server restore or just restore of data bases, files, and folders in minutes.
    The Acronis Management Console included into Acronis True Image ES offers far greater flexibility for corporate IT departments. From this console administrators can deploy backup agents on remote servers and create server backup images over the network, increasing the IT department's productivity and reducing costs.
    Key features: - Real-time server disk backup and instant bare metal server restore - Restore data bases, files and folders - Acronis Management Console for remote server backup - Disk imaging and disk cloning - Incremental disk backup and disk backup image verification - Scheduling and scripting - Support for SAN, NAS, RAID, tape drives, CD/DVD, network and other backup storage.

    Acronis Universal Restore allows you to restore to different hardware or to a virtual machine, providing complete disaster recovery. Disaster recovery planning and tools that enable business continuity are requirements for every business. Acronis Universal Restore prepares you for even the most unforeseen events.

    You will need to do one of two things...

    1. Put the Ghost server on both VLAN's ( handy if you have a lot of VLAN's and can trunk to the NIC on the Ghost Server ). This is the best option for Multicasting

    2. Have a route between the 2 and make sure you have a gateway command in the GhostIP.cfg file. Multicast can get interesting here for routing etc.

    We have Ghost running over 12 VLAN's with no great problems.

    Thanks for the suggestion, im running ghost from a PC. What do I do to add the other Vlan. We've only two at the moment, is it a setting on the NIC.

    OK - if you have set up trunking via the NIC you should have 2 Virtual NIC's - 1 in each VALN ??

    If so - just give them each an IP in the range assigned to the VLAN and don't configure a gateway or enable routing.

    sounds like a plan, can you point me to a "how to" on the virtual NIC I've never config'd one up.

    Its a Intel(R) 82566DM Gigabit Network Card.

    Right...

    If you have the latest driver and the card supports it...

    Go into Device manager and right click on your NIC.

    Choose properties and you should have a VLAN's tab.

    In there create 2 new VLAN's 1 each in the VLAN's you have set up.

    You will then need to configure your switch to trunk traffic to your NIC.

    As long as the VLAN ID's are the same away you go....
