rifle license

    I am applying for a rifle license this weekend, I have a shotgun license and to get it last year I furnished two permission letters.

    I am now in the process of joining the local gun club I will have my membership number in a couple of months

    My problem is that I want to apply for rifle license this weekend and I have lost one of the permission letters and I don’t want to have to get him to sign again.

    So my question is……..

    Do I need to furnish both letters again even though I have a current shotgun license under these two permissions

    On my shotgun license it says I am joined “ gun club” (even though I am not actually joined yet…dunno why they put this down)….having this on my shotgun license, would this suffice to get me the rifle license or am I just better off waiting for my gun club membership to be finalized?????????????????

    you should be fine as you have permission on local gun club land and also the fact that you already hold a firearms certificate, there shouldnt be any need to produce anything.
