Never tried it, don't do spirits (tad on the pricey side from what I remember)

Class boozer, chilled out, nice crowd, no bullcrap.
(what I wouldn't give for an old 5p piece just to have a whirl on the ole "A & B" phone, in the snug- yeah showing me age I know-you'd probably get ET on it!)

Certainly the only pub I ever came across with a squash court
(and I've often thought, after a feed of pints..how much I'd love a quickie... game of squash that is:))

I know it's a fitness thing from one of the owners.

Had a lucky escape recently with the fire.

Would have been a shame to lose this one!

    Top joint!!!!

That No 9 is very good! Smooth, long lasting, touch of aniseed and chocolate as I recall.

    mm!

Apparently it's lovely. Always meant to get a bottle of it for the father. This is a wonderful pub though. ALways a wonderful atmosphere and I think time stood still for a lot of people when the fire broke out next door. Lot of generations drank in there.

The well is my favourite little feature in there though:P

I think it's €30 for a bottle. Not sure of the size though - probably a litre.

Ring them and ask. Number's in the phone book.
