ive seen a special processor that can allow 3 shot burst in an aeg as an upgrade. Has anyone fitted this or seen one fitted?

as far as i know that because its an electrical system as opposed to a mechanical system it can lead o unreliable firing in guns although i do not have any experience with it.
the Type 89 has a mechanical burst fire which is supposidly fairly reliable.

Several rifles currently come with a mechanical burst mode as standard. The mod to gain burst mode on an aeg without it is actually a computer controlled MOSFET. They're a simple enough installation so long as you know your way around a gearbox or have experience soldering electronics. They are usually perfectly reliable as long as you get a well made board. Extreme Fire do one that's held in high regard. To gain burst fire you will have to sacrifice either semi or auto as most rifles don't have room for another fire group.

I have the extreme fire one installed in an m4, it's good and I'd definitely recommend it if you want to install 3 shot burst.

The way it's set up, you can still use full auto. Semi is still semi as per usual and Auto is 3 shot burst, but if you hold the trigger after the 3 shot burst completes, it goes to full auto which is nice to have if you need to lay down some covering fire.

Installation is fairly simple as long as you know how to use a soldering iron. Depending on what gun you are installing it into, you may or may not need to open the gearbox. V2s will always need to be opened, but some v3s you can get to trigger contacts from the outside. V6/V7 you can get to the trigger contacts without opening.

is that just a standard MOSFET that allows burst fire?
has it ever jamed on you?
would it be alright to install when running a higher ROF set-up?
