New NTL digital - missing channels

    Is this a common problem - immediately after the install, some (10ish) channels were missing. These came back during the evening - at one point all channels were available. But now they seem to be slowly disappearing again. When I say missing, I mean there is no picture or sound - when available, the picture/sound were perfect. No in-between.

    If it just blank no picture or message coming up on the screen it could be either a signal or box fault.

    It does display a message advising to check the cables etc - but if there was a cable problem, why would the channels be available some of the time?
