Relatively speaking most westerners would be considered quite big in Japan. :D

    that was the joke !
    update:
Rumors have been spreading regarding the actual purpose of firmware 2.43, although we have heard from several reliable sources it was implemented for the purpose of the Japanese Video Store. But at the same time, another rumor is circulating: supposedly, it has enabled "Advanced Downloading" for Gran Turismo 5: Prologue. It started with a member at the official PlayStation message boards, and now others are claiming the same thing: after downloading firmware 2.43, you are suddenly given the option to "Disable Advanced Downloading" when you start up Prologue. We've heard this feature was coming, but we had no idea when...is it finally here? Basically Advanced Downloading is kinda what it sounds like; it allows for peer-to-peer content trading for faster downloads of GT-TV purchases. This is most similar to the Beta P2P mechanic installed with Metal Gear Online.
So if any of you out there have already downloaded update 2.43 and also own Prologue, boot up the game to see what happens. If the option is there, please tell us all about it, and in that same vein, let us know what other small changes you may notice due to the new firmware.
