    Anybody else out there?

When I was registering for this Social Theory was compulsory. I'm pretty sure it was the same last year yet I didn't have to take it.

I assumed Theory was for 30+ Credit students.

Can anybody shed some light on this for me?

I can't ****ing stand Stand Social Theory and this means I may have to drop Sociology of Religion, which I really don't want to do.

    Ta.

Doing Sociology this year (3rd) myself too.

I'm doing 20 credits of it and so shouldn't have to be doing Social Theory (which I didn't do last year on 20 credits). It comes up on the registration screen that I do have to do it but I'll get that sorted by the records office or wherever.

I'd say if you're in the same position that's probably your best bet too.

Yeah, spot on. I'm doing 20 credits as well, forgot to mention that.

I'm taking Sociology of Religion, Ciaran Mccullagh's two modules, Deviance and Media and Piet Strydom's globalisation module. That's the rough plan anyway, though I may check out Living Spaces to see what it's like.

    Have you decided on yours?

I want to do both of McCullaghs modules and also the Habitat one by Kieran Keohane and I'm hoping to do the Health one again as I've done that for the last two years now.
