I handed my macbook in to be fixed today and see they are doing a 'special' offer of an upgrade from 1GB to 2GB for 50 euro installed.

    Worth it?

Well, 2GB for a MacBook from Crucial.com will cost you €38.71 delivered - installing the memory yourself is extremely easy so if it's worth paying about €12 for them to do it for you, it's your decision. I'd highly recommend Crucial for any memory upgrades - good quality and prices.

If they're replacing the 1GB module with a 2GB module be sure to ask for the 1GB stick back.
