Just bought a box off them and cant get it goin anybody able to help???please...i bought "

"?the only channel goin is rte1 and nothin else ....dont know if this thread is in the right place sorry if it aint and please move to correct location ty;)

ok to be fair to the guy maybe we was thinking hes buying Digital terrestrial receiver

But the name should be big give away - The Box T (MMDS)
MMDS is for cable TV but the fact that you can get RTE tells me you already have Cable TV and now you have connected The Box to that network.

OK, maybe the box itself isn't, but if he's using it to steal cable services then he's acting illegally.

It's a criminal offence to steal a service or give advice how to steal.

It's a contravention of T&C of UPC (Chorus/NTL) to connect your own decoder.

Copyright infringement is "only" breaking civil law.

We can't give advice on any of these things. Ask for your money back, and threaten to report them to Garda if they refuse.
