How can the passenger seat airbag in a Mazda Premacy be disabled

    Hi all, anybody know how to disable the airbag system on the passenger seat of a Mazda Premacy so a child seat can be fitted ? Thanks in advance.

    Its possible that it can't. My Alfa has a key to the side of the glove box, another car I had had it by the handbrake. The wifes Volvo and a couple of in-laws cars don't allow it - children belong in the back is the manufacturer's policy.

    If its not defeatable you may get people suggesting pulling fuses, but do you really want to mess with your safety system? Maybe just put the little one in the back?

    Thanks cjt156, It's a friends car & it doesn't have the key operation. As you say kids will have to go in the back then.
