Upgraded Recoil Spring?

will an up graded recoil spring wear out a GBB more quickly? i would have though it would but after reading that thing on redwolf it says that it actually lessens the impact force of the slide going back, but will it do more damage when the slide returns to battery. i put one in my 1911 but took it out in case it wrecked…

i put one in my 1911 but took it out in case it wrecked the front bushing, would a steel bushing counteract that, or will that just oush the problem to a weaker point elsewhere?
