    Hi All
Might be in the wrong forum here but here goes
Is there organization that can take old primary and secondary schoolbooks and distributes them to developing countries.
I have access to literally hundreds of them and rather than recycling them into milk cartons I reckon someone somewhere could use them.

    Cheers

I don't know how appropriate this would be. School text books are written for particular curriculums, and particular cultures, so I'm not sure how helpful this would really be. By all means ask a few reputable charities about this possibility (I would suggest contacting Camara.ie, as they supply educational computers to countries in sub-Saharan Africa). But, let's put it this way, would you consider an American school text book fitting in with our own national schools curriculum? If we had to abide by the American curriculum, how would you feel about it?

Grand idea, but I would think carefully about it.
