    Hi All,

I'm hoping to fence off my site in Co. Limerick in a few weeks and was wondering if anybody has any ideas on costs to buy/erect about 200m of timber post and rail ?? Thanks in advance.

You'd probably get more replies on the DIY forum so I will move it there.

I got a quote for 14.50 a meter to do over a hundred meters. Not sure how that compares. Haven't got it done yet but it's same as a neighbours nice looking fence very solid and reasonably thick cut wood.
That was for a 3 rail fence. Four rail was 15.50 a meter.

    Hope that helps.

    C.

a 12ft lenght of D rail is aprox 5 euro and a post is about the same - both are pressure treated.
