    Hey all

    I am hoping to redecorate my bedroom and have decided to go with brown/gold type colours. But every 'gold' paint I choose comes out as just yellow with a gold type name!

    Can anyone recommend any paint that looks gold but not yellow on the wall? I'm not after shiny glossy gold or anything like that! It's just for one wall

    Any help appreciated! :)

    If you want gold it has to have a metal content no way round it.

    Hi,
    I think you should try searching for mustard toned colours to get the effect that you are after. They will have muted tones, not like the yellows you have been trying.
