trying to playback a .aac video with subtitles with flv player but the subtitle font looks blown up and pixelated, and its a problem if anyone says more than a few words at a time you cant make out whats being said because it runs off screen.

Anyway to downsize this or know of a player that handles aac files better? I already have the klite pack so im a bit stumped.

Try VLC media player. It allows you to resize subtitles, edit fonts etc. Does the video file have a separate .srt subtitles file or is it hard coded into video??.

It could be a case of just bad subtitling in the actually video file rather than your media player...

whats the resolution and bitrate of the video? If the subs are embedded i think there is very little that you will be able to do with it.

screw it. tried downloading media player classic - it handled the subtitle file naturally. shame on vlc or shame on the file...hmm.

LOL A good lot in here swear by VCL (it is good for a lot of stuff) - I always use the k-lite/Classic media player full pack on machines and direct folk to use it that are having problems, more stable and has never let me down.

I prefare MPC to VLC, VLC is brilliant, but MPC seems to have a cleaner interface imo :)
