netgear wireless n

hi there would any one be able to help me i brought a netgaer wireless n route every time i turn it off and turn it back on i had to go back into the route setting again and press bassic setting and apply with is ok after i do this ?? can any one help thank

Also I had a Netgear Wireless N router and its range was complete rubbish, a DLink N router was many times better, except the DLink started constantly rebooting . Using Devolo powerline jobbies now:D
