Have just booked flights with ryanair.

No Taxes on them and the total said it was coming to a total of
    30euro.

    3 x 10euro flights return = 30 in total.

    but

I got a mail after paying by credit card and the total was 60euro
    on the card.

I selected no travel insurance and no bags to check in, I'm also been charged for (30.00 EUR Passenger Fee: CC)

    PAYMENT DETAILS
    30.00 EUR Total Fare
0.00 EUR Taxes, Fees & Charges
    30.00 EUR Passenger Fee: CC
    60.00 EUR Total Paid

They give you flights tax free but they still find a way to get money off you.

I will ring tem tomorrow and I will fight this...

Anyone know what this is all about...

I honestly wouldn't bother ringing them, you will get absolutely no joy.

They do this to everyone, they won't allow you to use laser as this would not allow them to charge you a fee, they charge €5 per person per leg of trip, it's a disgrace but they do give you the total amount before you agree to pay it, you may not have noticed it but it's there. Once you select the payment type on the page after you enter your personal details, the total which appears in blue does change and by confirming your details you have confirmed you are willing to pa y this amount. There is basically nothing you can do unfortunately.

cheers, so there is now way to avoid this payment.
THE PASSANGER FEE MUST BE PAID...

20euro return flight is ok, dub - cork, i wont give out anymore.

I also booked the wrong time on the return flight, do they charge you to change this.

they do, it would probably work out cheaper just to book the new time from scratch :(

its a credit card charge, it can be avoided by using an electron card. which u cant really get in ireland, except as a gift card from mbna. it'll tell u the total, and as u click payment type, the total updates, i know, because i double checked yesterday. nothing to fight, the credit card charges are well known about.

 so it updated the price and u still purchased without checking, and managed to buy the wrong flights. pays to pay attention eh?!

u only need to book the home journey, not the whole thing. so credit card fee would b 30? or u can log into ur booking and change it, but theres a charge for this. They're not robbing, they've stated the charge clearly. Its not their fault if banks over here dont offer electron card widely.

well no, you will only have to book the return flight so it will cost €30.......

but it probably costs about €25 per person per leg to change it, double check it thought because I could be wrong....

You can actually apply online for a visa electron card with MBNA or Halifax, according to the last word anyway! oh but they said the "no charge" with this was a limited special offer so no point really.....

Spot on. Yeah thieving Ryanair scum. Aer Lingus never did this after you had paid your £300 for a single return flight to Paris.

DOn't know much about this current problem but I have to say the one and only time I had a problem with a Ryanair booking I rang them and they were brilliant. The site crashed in the middle of the booking so when it reloaded I started again (without checking my mail to see if the first one had gone through) and booked the flight again. It turned out the first one had actually gone fully through so I booked myself two seats in my own name on 2 flights. When I rang them and explained they just asked me to send it in in writing and I was then refunded the FULL amount of the extra booking. No problems, they were great. I was not expecting it at all because they could have very easily said I should have checked if the first had gone through.

Sweet Creeping Jesus! Welcome to Boards.

You can't read what's in front of you on a website and aren't even capable of booking the correct flights for yourself but you still take the trouble to register here to complain about Ryanair?

Give Joe Duffy a ring tomorrow while you're at it.
