Hi pingu your post didnt work quite right, you might want to try reposting images.

On the topic of airport police cars, was up there the other night picking my dad up from work and the ap have a new 08 ford transit connect with blue and yellow battenburg markings on it, looked well

Havnt been throught that way in a while normally only go as far as cargo, but he was in passenger terminal and it was on the departures rd. They look better then the avensis, and the new markings look better, lead to them looking more like garda cars but how and ever.

Oh the toyota landcruiser the guards have in the airport is nice aswell

Its the dodgey lightbar, which i never saw the sense in, can the 2 sides work indepandtly, and 2 whats the point they dont give 360 visability of the light in question which is flashing

Think the blue lightbar and the single amber beacon set back a bit work alot better

Sweet. I'd like to see the guards using Skodas, very respectable cars in my opinion, although it would be tough to beat a Mondeo.

ah ya cant beat the aul mondeos i drive 1 2001 2.0ltr petrol pure animal only thing tht went wrong wit it was the air con last year have it since new 117000 miles

Mondeo gets driven around 24 hours a day every day of the year by gardai and spends most of its time in 1st,2nd and 3rd gear, and never gives fail - that has to deserve respect

Saw the new K-9 unit with the old one at Dublin A/P. Originally thought that it was a cross border exercise thingy because of this countries usual purchases of emergency vehicles.

Small update - DAA now have 4 Transit Connects, which seems a lot. Numbered P1-P4.
