Just found out that a letter was sent to my parents house in last July/early August advising me that I had jury duty last week, which I've obviously missed. Honest mistake, I wasn't down to collect my post in a long time and I'm still on the voting register there. Anyone know what kind of fine/punishment I could get?

Possible summons to appear before the District Court and a Fine,

I would go talk to the Registrar at The Court where you were due to appear and explain the circumstances, may help avoid the above.

It's an offence to fail to show up. I believe the governing law is the Juries Act 1976
