Poker in Budapest?

    Greetings,

    I'm going to Budapest next week for some cut price dental work. I'll be in the dentist's chair all day and would like to play some poker at night. Anyone know a good spot in the town centre for a low-medium stakes cash game?

    I played in the Tropicana when I was there. there's only one table of 500/1000 HFU and it starts at 9 IIRC. You need to put your name on the list pretty early in the day to get a seat. I think you can phone in but you have to be a member.

    Do you really think you'll be in the mood for poker after a day at the dentists? Like all good eastern European cities, I'm sure you'll be able to find less stessful forms of entertainment.

    there's at least one other casino with possible poker because they're having an EPT there, I forget what the casino is called but it's not the Tropicana, maybe the Bellagio or something, definitely a ripoff of some Vegas casino. I don't know anything about it.

    Thanks. Just wanted to see where people have been. I've been burned in Eastern Europe so many times it's untrue so I won't be getting into a taxi and saying "casino" unless I know where I'm going is a reputable spot.
