well we pressed our apples last night. tried on monday night but the frame on the press let us down, had to make a better model in work. any we pressed about 6 stone of apples and got 10 litres of juice.

there's a few little tweeks we need to do to make the process a little easier for the next batch. chopping and pulping the apples by hand is too labour intensive, so we're looking at getting some sort blender or processor to do that.

must also say that we used a good mix of cooking, crab and eating apples. the juice was delicious. the trees we picked the apples off are on the farmers land for generations. we'll be drinking the same cider our ancestors drank:D cheers.
