dota leagues?

    Anyone know if there are any leagues running or in the process of starting for the average dota player?
    If there was an ED type ladder system running that would rock, only without all the homoerotic name calling and AMX plugin modded servers (except the UT sounds because we all know they make dota more awesome)

    If only it was the womans voice saying them...
    Would love to play in a league funky or dabounca was on about one before, don't know what one it was. Said most people were too lazy to go through the reg process.

    Also how does picking happen in tournaments. Who gets to pick their heroes first and so on?

    i'd be interested in getting back into dota for some league games, would be class

    think the general rules are you draft your team before the game, not exactly sure what the order is probably something along the lines of 1pick/2picks/2picks/2picks/2picks/1pick, then you go into an AP game and just pick the heros you drafted.
