A Dick Smith Electronics customer was reportedly "sickened" to discover her new mobile phone contained sexually explicit photos of a female employee from the store.

The Cairns woman found the pornographic shots among 49 images already stored on the phone when she bought it, the Daily Telegraph reports.

The explicit shots showed the female employee lying on a bed naked from the waist down and performing a sex act, and a man holding his penis.

The woman is also seen wearing a Dick Smith Electronics staff uniform while standing outside the store.

"It's sickening to think I've been using this phone near my face," the customer, an unnamed university student, was quoted by the Telegraph as saying.

"What people do in their own homes is their business. But I'm disgusted it was left on the shelf to be sold."

The mobile phone she bought was a display model, the last one in stock, and she later complained about the phone's audio quality.

The customer then accessed the phone’s menu and discovered the explicit photos.

A Dick Smith Electronics spokesperson said the company was investigating the incident and that the female staff member would not comment.

Now I've heard of getting a free cover or a headset with the phone but free pr0n? Fantastic!

Personally, no. But I have heard of some chaps purchasing a Manchester based football club recently and getting some free unrealistic expectations with it.

I saw something very similar:
I worked in a mobile phone retailer and we had loan phones to give out to people when their phones went away from repair. We gave out a loan phone to a guy and the next day he came back into the store with steam pouring from his ears. It turns out the phone was for his young son and there were some naughty pictures on it from whoever last had the phone on loan. It took a huge amount of smooth talking from the manager but needless to say, he wasn't a happy chap when he left.

Myself & Himself rented out the film "swordfish" when it came out years ago, brought it home, put into the player,....

Somebody bought an iPhone and found out it it came preloaded with pictures of a cute iPhone factory worker. That's her there! I think this is the just the impetus I needed to finally make the iPhone switch. I hope I get some factory photos too!
