laptop wireless help

    im having a problem with my laptop, i cant seem to connect to the net and the wifi light isnt lighting up, when i go to the wireless utility for the card is saying there is no driver installed for it and when i download it from dell its saying that the driver is not compatibal for the card

    the laptop is an inspiron 6400
    wireless card is a dell wireless 1390 wlan mini-card rev 4.4

    if you need any more info on the laptop please ask and ill provide
