    Please see below an email I received today from the organisers of Peoples Photography.

    "Darren, Can you pass on my thanks to everyone from Boards who supported peoples photography over the last few years. Brian and I have been organising it since 2001 and are stepping down after this year. We will be issuing a mail to get a new organising group together and I would suggest someone from Boards get involved to protect your interest if possible. Thanks again to everyone. Eddie"

    Wow, I must send on an email to Eddie to thank him for the work he put in. Didn't expect this :)

    I wonder will people from DCC get involved?

    It's a good weekend, fingers crossed it'll stay the same in future years!

    Wow - wonder what prompted this? I guess it can't be an easy task though, and probably thankless for the most part.

    Wow, thats a shame, it always seemed to run well. I hope it's kept going and I also hope no one group like DCC or any club take over it would bode badly for people not members of that group.

    Has anyone from Boards decided to put their name forward?

    EDIT: I dont mean to sound down on DCC, the same would happen if Boards or any group took over, their members would inevitably get preference for spaces. Eddie obviously has similar worries.
