Hi lads, I bought a "Game" branded rechargeable battery recently as my other battery gave up for my wireless controller, has anybody picked up one of these? It doesnt seem to want to charge with the microsoft branded plug and charge cable?is it that this battery can only be cgarged using a Game plug and charge kit?if so thats a bit of a ripoff by Game once again..

No it works with the same cable, I use it that way. Turn on your xbox though because sometimes it wont work when turned off. Make sure you have the battery in fully too, contacts dont seem to be as good.

Believe it or not, I have the exact same issue. Got 2 batteries with the play 'n' charge kit and now only one of them charges properly. Thought it was the battery-pack but when i switched them round i found out it was the joypad. They both work perfectly when left plugged in, but on the faulty one the charging light satys red for a few minutes and then turns green. As soon as i unplug the cable, though, it dies one me.

Spot on! Thats exactly what mine is doing, it charges no problem on a different controller, so now i have two wireless controllers and 3 batteries, oh well!:pac:
