    I am going for a job intervuew on Thursday morning and I am just going through the job spec that I was given. On it there is a line;

    " Documenting activity in appropriate reporting format, including 3-up and/or 4-up charts"

    What are 3-up and 4-up charts? I have never heard of them.

    I'd assume they mean summary charts that display three/four different data sets on the one slide/page. They probably have a number of sets of data that they present together like this to summarise progress, decisions, etc for managers and meetings. For example, a 3-up chart might have a graph with sales figures with trends top left, a graph of contributory areas top right and a table underneath with a list of important factors with proposed actions and outcomes.

    Yo yo. Look here:http://help.lockergnome.com/office/chart-create-ftopict711927.html

    Also gives an example of a 3-up chart. Best of luck kiddo.

    Typically 4 Up's are used to give an overview of projects / situations. An example of the quadrants could be background/scope, schedule/timelines, cost/benefits and risks. These could be completed using diagrams, tables, charts or words.

    Good luck on Thursday

    So now I know what one looks like, how do I create one? I've tried searchng excel and powerpoint, but nothing has come up.

    I would imagine that you create the graphs and/or tables seperately as normal in Excel and then import them into a powerpoint presentation or into a new sheet in excel.
