msn sign in problem

    this is an error message i get

    we are unable to sign into windows live messenger,possibly because of a problem with your service or with your internet connection
    please make sure you are connected to the internet

    to let us try and troubleshoot the problem click the troubleshoot button


    error code 81000306


    my internet connection is fine at the moment
    im know nothing about computers or troubleshooting


    could someone help me in simple terms

    did you get new Anti Virus software or is your AV set to automatic updates?

    Normally something like this would block it.

    It could be just a temporary outage while they fix something.

    You could try a web messenger. See if you can connect that way.

    i have avg -i think there is automatic updates
    how do i unblock it for msn
