    Yep. Know someone who went from a B to an A in Irish. Was November in 5th year at this stage and she couldn't give two ****s.

    When I got my results one of my friends appaled Science and was moved from a C to an A.

    I know someone who went from a D to an A in maths and from a B to an A in geography. Both honours...

    I know a guy who got Bs and Cs in da Jc got a lot rechecked and really got As and Bs...
    Good news is if you were given a B got it checked and you really got a C they can't lower your grade, not for the Jc!!

    Getting grade checked can only mean either
    • result stays same and loose 30euro OR
    • result goes up and get back your 30 euro!!
    Changing from a D to an A is a huge difference thats crazy. . .I hope that examiner was sacked!!:eek::eek::eek:
    Im not getting any rechecked though I am over the moon with my results!:D

    It would more than likely have been a mis-tot of marks to cause such a jump in grades. That big a discrepancy in marking would be very unusual.
    Mistakes in totting are the most common errors and far more likely to result in an upgrade than a re-marking would.
